Originally inspired by a beautiful orchid blooming in my studio, this is a colourful collection of oil paintings and their crayon twin studies.

These works are meant to preserve the magic of easy summer mornings with the sunlight reflecting on the petals of the flowers in my kitchen. Cue in a soft melody, a good stretch to the sky, the aroma of fresh coffee beans and you have yourself a blissful moment. Look closely and the petals will turn into soft fabric reminiscent of the warm bed sheets you just got out of.
